Girls on Tools - Workshop Day
Our first ever Girls on Tools workshop was everything we hoped it would be and more.
Women from all experience levels came together to learn practical motorcycle maintenance skills, ask questions, and build confidence around their bikes in a supportive, judgment free environment.
But beyond the tools and techniques, the real magic was in the connections that were made. New friendships were formed, stories were shared, and a room full of women discovered a community where they truly belong.
Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make our first event such a success. This is just the beginning.
I walked into Girls on Tools knowing almost nothing about motorcycle maintenance and left feeling so much more confident. Things that used to seem intimidating suddenly made sense because they were explained in a way that was easy to understand.

I have only just built up the confidence to start riding again after I went to a particularly bad bike accident while I was at work a few weeks after I bought my bike. The rider was at fault but seeing him in that state really made me nervous to ride. It's been almost 2 years now and my bike has just been sitting there. I hadn't even been able to start it due to flashbacks of the accident. Attending the workshop yesterday was the first step in me getting back on. Today I bought myself a paddock stand and cleaned and lubed my chain in preparation to start riding again. I've also replaced the battery. Being around so many girls who ride has given me the encouragement I needed 🫶🏼🫶🏼

My favourite part of the day wasn't just what I learnt, it was the people I met. Everyone was so welcoming and supportive, regardless of experience level. By the end of the workshop I had swapped socials with a few girls and already have plans for future rides and track days. It felt like finding my people.
